Oil Spill Response and Management

SpillConsult provides OPRC, IMO and MCA regulated Oil Spill response courses providing the required skills to all levels from front line responders up to Executive commander and corporate levels. In addition, we provide training for individuals who may be involved in the development and implementation of an Oil Pollution Emergency Plan (OPEP) and front line operations assessing oil spills such as aerial assessment and Shoreline cleanup assessment techniques.

Incident Command System ICS

The Incident Command System, originally developed within emergency management frameworks such as those promoted by Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Emergency Management Institute in the USA is the flagship collection of courses that SpillConsult offers to our customers. The ICS 100, 200 and 300/320 courses prepare responders who may be required to form an Incident Management Team (IMT) to tackle incidents ranging from small contained incidents to large complex and expanding incidents. additionally SpillConsult offer a series of role specific courses designed to promote skills needed for the various leading roles within an Incident Command Team.

Participants on in-person courses are supported with comprehensive resources, including an Incident Management Handbook (IMH), digital and printed course materials, and a certificate upon successful completion.
