Proud to be working with IPIECA

At the start of the year, SpillConsult was awarded the tender to work with IPIECA to develop an oil spill surveillance strategy guideline focused on Surveillance Planning.

To know that the industry has faith in SpillConsult to write this important guideline is a huge compliment to our entire team.

Because surveillance is a critical response tool and a key component of situational awareness, SpillConsult recognised how significant this document could be for the sector, and set out to offer a more proactive approach to surveillance along with an innovative 'Surveillance Planning Process'. Despite COVID-19 disrupting some of our original plans, we navigated those difficulties and collaborated with numerous specialists to produce a technical, tool-based document.

With the first draft completed successfully, we are now working on a few amendments ahead of the final draft.
