Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, as a UK company with a turnover of less than £36m, SpillConsult is not required to develop a slavery and human trafficking statement that describes the steps taken to ensure no modern slavery is taking place in its business and supply chains. 

However, as an ethical and responsible Company, SpillConsult can state that it prohibits hiring child or forced labour.  All staff are aware that any suspected instances of such abuses, whether in their own operations or those of suppliers, are to be reported to SpillConsult’s Directors and Human Resources (HR) function for investigation. 

Furthermore, SpillConsult states that it will endeavour to operate consistently with the expectations of the industry and Country.
