Kuwait National Oil Spill Contingency Plan

A SpillConsult team, four strong, recently spent a week in Kuwait supporting MEMAC and the Environment Protection Authority in the development of a new National Oil and Hazardous and Noxious Substance Spill Contingency Plan.  This is part of an ongoing stakeholder engagement programme which aims to ensure that all parties are fully involved in, and understand, the planning process.  In this way a robust planning and response framework can be developed to ensure the best possible outcome in the event of a marine incident.
