Kuwait National Oil Spill Contingency Plan

A SpillConsult team of four professionals recently spent a week in Kuwait supporting MEMAC and the Environment Protection Authority in the development of a new National Oil and Hazardous and Noxious Substance Spill Contingency Plan.

This assignment formed part of an ongoing stakeholder engagement programme designed to ensure that all relevant parties are actively involved in, and fully understand, the planning process.

Through collaborative workshops, consultations and technical input, a robust planning and response framework can be developed to deliver the best possible outcome in the event of a marine incident.
