The SpillConsult Incident Management course is an ICS/IMS 300 & 320 compliant programme that delivers a comprehensive overview of the concepts, principles and operational protocols of ICS/IMS. The course is scenario-based and guides delegates through the full lifecycle of an incident, from initial response through transition and into an expanded Incident Management Team, providing participants with a thorough and practical understanding of the key roles and responsibilities within an ICS/IMS structure.
Who should attend? Any person who may be required to fulfil a role as part of an Incident Management Team.
What will be covered? All steps of the process from initial response through to the proactive planning phase and the production of a clear and actionable Incident Action Plan (IAP). By utilising the immersive virtual environment of Komoko, realistic scenarios illustrate the operational challenges faced by the various functions and components of an expanding ICS/IMS structure.

Course outline Day 1: Scenario-based interactive learning session covering the key features of ICS/IMS and how these may benefit on-scene response. Day 2: Scenario-based interactive and demonstration-driven learning focused on the advantages of ICS/IMS for proactive incident management. Day 3: The scenario continues with all participants taking on the roles of the IMT in a coached table-top exercise to consolidate learning.
