Back-to-Back Exercises for North Sea Client

SpillConsult successfully delivered twin incident management exercises last week to a North Sea supermajor.  These exercises saw our Simulation Cell (‘SimCell’) use SpillConsult’s web-based Exercise Management System to provide new members of an Incident Management Team with realistic experience of what it is like to respond to a major offshore incident.  Every aspect of the scenario for these exercise was based on client-specific requirements.  By working closely with the client from the outset, SpillConsult was able to ensure that a multitude of learning outcomes were achieved using a single realistic scenario.  This approach not only ensures that all participants receive maximum benefit from the training but also provides the client with maximum value for money.

SpillConsult specialise in emergency, disaster and oil spill response and has experience in running both large multi-country, multi-agency exercises with over 400 participants and smaller asset specific exercises with less than 20 participants.  Central to this are our dedicated in-house team who have a diverse range of experience in various emergency response spheres across six continents.  In addition, our staff have responded to hundreds of incidents between them including significant oil spills such as Deepwater Horizon, Sea Empress and Exxon Valdez.
