Last month we conducted a 4-hour Emergency Response Table Top Exercise for just 5 delegates in Aberdeen.

The purpose of the exercise:

• Testing emergency response arrangements between Operator and Contractor

• Ensuring robust communication plan and mobilisation procedures

• Proving effective coordination with teams in Norway and Aberdeen across multiple Incident Management Teams

• Assisting the customer with ensuring their contractor’s comply with high standards of safety, emergency response and incident management

• Assisting with continuous improvement for all parties into the future

• Scenarios tested the participants response to an aircraft incident and a protestor incident, confirming ‘who does what’ in each scenario

The customer, was very happy with how the exercise ran and each scenario provided participants with the opportunity to respond to people, environment, asset and reputational concerns.
