Successful VICP Exercise!

Recently we worked with our customer Western Canada Marine Response Corporation to deliver a full-scale exercise involving more than 70 participants, using our

Virtual Incident Command Post (VICP). By collaborating closely with them and other relevant stakeholders, we developed a realistic, tailored scenario that successfully demonstrated the organisation’s response readiness and operational capabilities in line with their certification requirements.

The VICP has proven to be an invaluable and flexible tool, enabling us to continue providing high-quality training and complex exercises to our customers throughout the past year.

Tailor-made for each client, the VICP delivers the same incident management functionality you would expect from a face-to-face exercise, including familiar ICS forms, core command functions and realistic decision-support features.

With participation from 14 different organisations and community partners, the exercise also strengthened relationships between our team, our customer and other members of the oil spill response community, further enhancing overall preparedness and coordination for future incidents.
