At SpillConsult Ltd, our People value shows up not just in how we work together, but in how we support the communities around us.

Our colleague Simon Forster MSc FInSTR, Consultant / Trainer, is currently in his second season coaching the local Under 13’s football team. Training happens every Tuesday evening – in sunshine or pouring rain – with Saturday morning matches played across Hampshire. The team is currently 5th in the table with three games in hand and pushing for a top-three finish. 🙏

Simon originally stepped in to support when another coach left, simply wanting to help. What’s kept him involved is the positive impact the environment is having on the players.

Over the past two seasons, he’s seen young people grow not just as footballers, but as individuals – building confidence, improving communication, supporting one another, and developing leadership skills. The focus isn’t just on results. It’s about creating the right culture.

We’re proud to see our values being lived both inside and outside of work. Well done Simon, something to truly be proud of. 👏
