SpillConsult Ltd are proud to continue to support one of our long-standing clients in Mauritania with their commitment to environmental protection. Marcus Russell and Richard Hurdley travelled last week to Nouakchott where they provided offshore oil spill response training to the crew of a dedicated response vessel.

Training consisted of oil spill theory and practical sessions that included Containment and Recovery operations and simulated dispersant application. The trip also provided an opportunity for the team to conduct scheduled maintenance on first response equipment ensuring response readiness is maintained.
