Carl has been in his current role since 2022.  Prior to this he had spent 34 consecutive years in HM Armed Forces and the Police Service until his retirement.

His military service and police career included a variety various roles, tasks and responsibilities, many of which were as supervisory, instructional and training posts.

Carl’s Police career latterly saw him perform as an expert Forensic Collision Investigator. He was also an instructor and mentor in various subjects, including LGVs, enforcement technology, dangerous goods, vehicle examination and was a consultant in the preparation of regional and national procedures for the topics.

Between his Police career and current position, he has held supervisory roles in a national security company, national transportation company and obtained Health & Safety qualifications, including those related to the Oil and Gas sector.
